What Size Do I Need?
The great thing about Stow-A-Ways is our flexibility in our service and in our sizes. We offer you three sizes including our mega 20 ft unit, the largest unit offered by any portable storage company in the region. Other sizes available include 16 ft and 12 ft units. Each container is 8 ft tall and 8 ft wide with a lockable roll-up door. To determine the size container that you need, consider the size of the items that you have. For comparative purposes, these guidelines* can help get you started. If you’re still not sure, give us a call at 1-800-768-4600. We’re here to help you! 20 ft Typically holds the contents of a 3—4 bedroom apartment or home*: 1229 cubic feet (approximate) 160 square feet (approximate) 16 ft Typically holds the contents of a 2-3 bedroom apartment or home*: 980 cubic feet (approximate) 128 square feet (approximate) 12 ft Typically holds the contents of a one-bedroom apartment*: 736 cubic feet (approximate) 96 square feet (approximate) What if I underestimate? No worries. If during your loading, you find you under estimated the space you need, just give us a call and we’ll do our best to deliver an additional unit the same day. How’s that for service? |
